Renal Care Group, Inc. Listed Among Fortune Magazine's 100 Fastest-Growing Companies

Also Announces Partnership with the National Kidney Foundation

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 10, 1999--Renal Care Group, Inc.  today announced that it has been included in the Fortune list of ``One Hundred Fastest-Growing Companies.'' To qualify for the list, companies had to be based in the United States, have been in operations for three years, and have revenues and market capitalization of at least $50 million. In addition, companies were required to have a minimum 30% growth rate in both revenue and earnings per share for three years.

The Company also announced that it has entered into a partnership with the National Kidney Foundation to design a national program to provide pre-dialysis and dialysis patients with informational and educational materials. Working together, the two organizations will cooperate to develop an extensive array of educational tools with the goal of eventually standardizing the approach to educating patients and their families.
