NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 28, 1998--Renal Care Group, Inc. today announced the results of its first month of operations following the completion of its merger with nine dialysis facilities located in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. The Company is releasing the results of operations to comply with the terms of the merger.
The consolidated results of operations for Renal Care Group, Inc. for the month of January 1998 consist of net revenues of $25,500,000 and net income of $2,432,000, or $0.09 per share. Weighted average common and common equivalent shares outstanding for the month were 27,800,000.
Renal Care Group, Inc. is a nephrology services company that was founded in February 1996 to focus on the provision of care to patients with kidney disease, including patients suffering from chronic kidney failure. The Company provides dialysis and ancillary services to approximately 9,700 patients through 139 owned outpatient dialysis centers in 18 states, in addition to acute dialysis services to 81 hospitals.
