Michael Sykes' kidney transplant happened quickly.

One day he was working as a sales support supervisor at Target, the next he was undergoing a five-hour transplant operation. He's grateful to the donor, but he's also indebted to the associates who took care of him during the 15 months he underwent dialysis.  "I can't thank them enough for everything they did to make my life as normal as possible. Their first concern was always my well-being. I'm not a dialysis patient any more, but I'll be visiting them all the time."
